    About L. W. Myers

    L. W. Myers Hello. My name is L. W. Myers. I’m a business lawyer and business coach in Lexington, Kentucky.

I limit my law practice to the 3 C’s that keep business owners awake at night – Cash Flow, Conflicts and Compliance.

Without Cash Flow, no business can survive. An accountant or accounting software can give you a statement of cash flows, but that view is historical. Clients need to see where they are and where they are going (or will be) in the future.

Conflicts (among staff, with customers and clients, with vendors and with competitors) distract owners from the purpose of their business. Clients need to position their business to avoid conflicts.

Compliance with tax codes and regulatory agency rules is critical to the long-term health of any business. When clients stay in compliance they sleep peacefully at night.

I started this blawg to talk about law-related subjects that don’t fit ordinary blogs, or LinkedIn or Twitter.

This blog talks about issues of interest to attorneys, their clients — and you.

At first you may wonder how some of my postings apply to the legal profession. Or to clients. Or to you.

But keep reading. You will see.

And your comments are always welcome because
